My Birthday
October 7th was my 25th birthday. Now I feel really old!
In the morning I dropped Ainsley off at preschool and then took the boys to the park to play for awhile. Rand LOVED the swing and his cute little giggles just made my day!
I played around with the timer on my camera and I made Channing mad by making him be in a picture with me.
Nick cooked me dinner when he got home:) Ainsley kept asking me if it was really my birthday. I couldn't figure out why so I finally asked her. She said "well I don't see a cake and when it's your birthday you have cake." (Nick forgot cake when he dropped by the store on his way home from work)
We tried to convince her that it was ok but she wasn't buying. She told me that maybe I though it was my birthday today but it was really on another day and then there would be cake.
So... we made a "family trip" to the grocery store and picked out a cake.
My day was very low key but relaxing and fun. The week before we went shopping and Nick bought me some much needed new clothes:) Also thanks to my dad for taking me my brother and sister, cousins, and Nate, Katy and family out to dinner last weekend! He also made me a cake which he actually put 25 candles on for me to blow out. There's nothing like a cake FULL of candles to make you feel old!

Happy Birthday Jacie! I know everytime I have a birthday it depresses me but your only 25 with 3 kids. Girlfriend you are a spring chicken- now I am old at 28!! :)
Your daughter is such a thinker if you ask me. It's funny you mention getting new clothes, I always notice how cute you look and was going to ask you where your wardrobe comes from. Did Nick pick anything out?
Happy 25th Jacie!! You are NOT old. Give me a break :) You are married with 3 kids. I'm single, finally finishing college, and don't have a prospect at the age of 24...Now, I'M OLD! Your kids are adorable.
awww jacie! fox HATES the swings. maybe if he sees how much fun Rand is having, he'll like it too! my friend just turned 25 and she now constantly says, "halfway to 50!" i'm glad you had a good low key day :)
and hey, we'd love to swing on by on saturday if we're invited! i totally understand if it's just a family thing, ya know?!
Happy belated! I did honestly think of you on your birthday....kind of lame I didn't say anything! Hope it was great, turning 29 was much harder then 25 so live it up girlie! I LOVE new clothes...not so much right now...but at a normal time its great! LOVE that shot of your beautiful kitchen! I want to see more pictures!!!!
