We Moved... Again!
Well, we did it again. We moved! In the beginning of August we sold our old house and Nick started his job in Nogales. We moved down to Sahuarita to shorten Nick's commute, but not be too close to the border:) We have been in a rental home searching for a home to buy since then. We finally found a home we love and after much red tape and a little anxiety it is ours. We moved in a week and a half ago.
Nick's dad came down to help us out. I spent most of the day cleaning the old place while the guys did all the heavy lifting AND kept an eye on the kids. I have never enjoyed cleaning more:) The kids loved playing in the back of grandpa's van and pretty much getting away with whatever they wanted since daddy was in charge.
The new house is only about two miles from where we were living before so these guys decided to ride the dirt bikes over instead of loading them on the truck.
That night after everything was moved Nick and his dad went to the Priesthood session of General Conference together. When they came home they brought the "inaugural contents" for our new fridge.
We have quite a bit of wildlife around us. There are several roadrunners that come into our yard to catch bugs and even jump on the roof to play. We have seen coyotes, jack rabbits, snakes, a gila monster, and even heard there is a bobcat that roams our neighborhood! The kids think it is cool and I think it is a little scary so we play carefully:)
There are plenty of bugs to catch (which happens to be Ainsley and Channing's most beloved hobby right now).
There is plenty of dirt to play in (and eat).
There is plenty of room to run and explore. The kids are in heaven:)
We love our new home... the big back porch... and the great views.
We are still trying to settle in and get unpacked. Things are going a little slow, but they're going:) We feel so at home here and we can see ourselves sticking around for awhile.

You gotta love Texas Bluebell!! You wouldn't believe the vast amounts of flavors they actually make, but do not sell here-it's really unfortunate. Congrats on the new house- it's nice to feel settled.

Hey guys, it's Jessica. I'm glad you found our blog. I asked about you two and got distracted and never looked you up. It's great to catch up and I can't believe you have 3 kids now. They are adorable by the way, and they have blondish hair?!! So what does Nick do now? Is that what made you move? I'm also jealous of how much lake time yours and Nate's family get.
