Thanksgiving

This year we hosted Thanksgiving for some of the Porters at our house. First off I have to say thanks to Katy for actually taking pictures because I didn't take any:)

Kiera, Ainsley, and Channing riding bikes. Everyone, especially the kids loved getting outside, taking walks, and getting some fresh air.

Aunt Katy took the kids outside and did photo shoots of everyone.

Looking over the bridge.

This is a horrible picture of me but I am putting it in because I worked really hard to cook my first Thanksgiving and this is all I have to document. SO enjoy!

The food - buffet style.

The kids wrestling with Grandpa Porter

Nick and Nate checking out... the underneath of the fridge? All I have to say about this is that I don't think there is an appliance in our home that didn't get a thorough examination by these guys:)

There was a big storm the night before Thanksgiving and it continued to rain off and on through the whole weekend. The weather was beautiful.

Two important things I didn't get pictrues of that I am sad about...
1. Coyote hunting
After the incident I posted about before this Nick decided to take coyote matters into his own hands. His dad and brother both brought their guns and the guys spent a good portion of the weekend out in the desert "coyote hunting". Too bad they didn't catch anything:( They came back with some good stories though. One of my favorites was how they saw four coyotes and somehow none of them was able to get a shot off??? Ask Nick about it the next time you see him:)
2. Go-Kart racing
Nick and Nate raced go-karts at an outdoor track near here. They left feeling pretty good a out themselves because they lapped all the other guys they were racing with.

The kitchen and food look great- you did a nice job. Nick and his brother are hilarious- its a boy twin thing maybe?! I love the pictures of the kids. Very nice! Miss you guys!
