Pixie

Last night I went in to check on the kids before I went to bed and found this...

I thought she was sound asleep and instead she was giving herself a hair cut. She sat on the bathroom counter and looked in the mirror as she chopped it all off. When I asked why she did it she told me she just wished her hair was shorter! The girl is lucky that she was already asleep when I found out and I had all night to cool down before we adressed this little problem. The pictures don't do it justice. It was bad.

I took her to the hair salon today to try and get it fixed. It is nice and even now, but she looks like a boy. It is going to take years for it to grow out in the back.

As for the punishment... a post on that will come later:)

Oh and here's a before picture in case you don't remember how cute her hair was before.

I am happy to see that SHE looks very unhappy in these photos. Bring her on over if she needs reminded of what a tragedy her hair has become ;) And in the process maybe it'll keep Sadie from cutting her hair for the THIRD time.

I know my time is coming for Callie to try this...we have worked so hard for her to get hair. There will be a lot of crying...! So sorry! Right after her adorable haircut!! It would be a good thing if Callie were in bed too!!

I might be bias because I have a pixie but I love that cut on her so cute. I am sure it is a bit scary to find your kid cutting their own hair.

Oh....that just makes you cringe. SO far we've been lucky. Nathan cut his hair once, but being a boy, you can get away with a good shave job. He cut his hair behind the couch. When I found the hair, he had no idea where it had come from. However, he didn't realize that one look at him gave it away. Innocence....they're so cute when they try to lie.

Crazy. I was just looking at Nate's blog and deja vu!! It looks like she was going for an a line asymmetric bob. They did a good job of fixing it though. You'll just have to use a bunch of bows and head bands for a while. I loved the post of the baby's first month. What a cutie.

It seems every family that has girls will experience this drama. My sister has dealt with it with her 4 girls! That is so sad I would of been furious too! Oh, I could even feel myself getting all fumed up. I am so sorry!

Oh I would be soooo mad! It seems like all kids do that. After the hair salon cute, it really doesn't look that bad. How it grows back FAST :)
