Rand's Birthday
Rand turned 2 on August 1st. Here he is opening his card from Great Grandma & Grandpa Homer.
He was so happy to get his $20!

Rand was having a hard time on his birthday. That's a nice way of saying he was cranky:) Nick's mom was here visiting so she watched the other kids while Rand and I snuck out for some one on one time (after a nice long nap). We got ice cream...
Then he picked out some birthday balloons. The lady at the store even gave him a free cookie. He was so happy!
Then to top it off Grandma took him and the other kids swimming. The minute he heard the word swim he ran and started changing his clothes.
Nick worked ALL day on Rand's real birthday so we decided to do the fun stuff a few days later when he was home. Luckily his cousins Kiera and Nixon were visiting.
We took the kids to Peter Piper Pizza.
They played games and ran around.
Then we went home for cake and ice cream.

Happy Birthday Rand! Where does the time go- I remember when you guys came to see us here in Utah and he was 4 months old!
train cake came out great! fox does the same thing with "swim"! he starts stripping off his clothes RIGHT THERE and runs to his room to get his "swimmies" on. what's with our kids and water huh?!
