Sea World
We had to go to Sea World while we were in San Diego. Ainsley and Channing talked about for Shamu for a month before our trip.
We started out by eating breakfast with Shamu.
We rented a couple of double strollers for the kids. Ainsley and Kiera wanted to share and Rand and Nixon didn't care!
Still just a little too short:)
We, of course, had to see the Shamu show. It wasn't, however, one of the things the kids enjoyed. It was really hot and we had to sit and wait. These are two things that don't go well with toddlers. Channing (the same kid who talked about shamu all month before we went) had only one thing to say "I want to go home" After the show was over and we left he was happy again. Kids!!
They loved seeing the animals up close. Here Nick is trying to talk them into touching the bat ray.
These guys love hanging out with each other. You can tell by their joyful expressions.

Nick kept telling Ainsley to touch this dolphin. I think she was getting annoyed because she suddenly reached out with one finger poked it and said "There dad, I touched it"

i love the story about Nick trying to get the kids to pet the dolphin. I can just SEE ainsley now! lol! and did my eyes see right that Nick was rockin' a straw hat??!!!
How fun! I love the picture of the three kids and their grumpy faces! Hahahaha! And Ainsley poking the dolphin is priceless! =)
