Hungry, Hungry Baby!

A few weeks ago we brought home some leftovers from a restaurant. It was in a box sitting on the kitchen table. I had just bathed and dressed the kids for bed, and it was then that I made the mistake of thinking I could step out of the room for 2 minutes.




Nick found Rand shoveling french fries and mashed potatoes into his mouth as fast as he could and called me in to see. He must have known he had a limited amount of time to indulge because I have never seen him eat like that!









The funny part is that he called me in saying, "Look what Rand did! He got into the food on the table." I was skeptical that this little guy had climbed up onto our counter height table and helped himself.






After more questioning of the other two kids we discovered that Ainsley had taken the lid off the box and put it on the floor for him because, "He looked hungry."





Of course it wasn't enough to just eat the food he had to crawl through and sit in it. I ended up having to change his clothes and bathe him again.









The scene was every mother's dream come true:)
