Thanksgiving Weekend

I didn't get too many photos from Thanksgiving this year. Nick entered a sprint triathlon with two of his brothers and a sister-in-law on The morning of Thanksgiving. It was his first one and he refused to train for the running or swimming portions. He did pretty well considering that and he was still sick (same sickness as he had at the tour)!

All ready to go and trying to keep warm... it was freezing that morning! The clothes in this photo show typical Nick behavior. Everyone else has gone out and gotten nice tri gear to wear and he shows up in his swim trunks and a Gilbert High school t-shirt. Also notice his shoelace race belt. Because it would hurt too much to spend money on clothes:) plus he's proud of his outfit... not a vain bone in his body I swear.

Nick (We never did see Nate on the bike and the women started later so no pics of Katy.

Finally a 400 meter swim. Micah was a decent swimmer.

I'm pretty sure that is Katy swimming into the finish. She knew what she was about and trashed the boys swimming times! After the triathlon we had brunch at his dad's house. Later that afternoon we went over to his mom's house for Dinner and a family photo.

The Next day I rode up to the top of South Mountain with Nick's dad. Nick and Candice were supposed to come but neither of them was feeling very well so we went without them. We stopped by my cousins house as we were headed back home on Sunday. I didn't get any photos but we had a great time catching up.
