More Bad Luck With Pets - June 2010
In June we had so say goodbye to our ducks and chickens. Actually, I guess they left before we had a chance to say goodbye!
Ainsley woke us up early one morning saying she could see a dead chicken outside the window. Sure enough Blackie was lying in the front yard. Sunny, Hazel, and Frodo were missing. Nick got in the car and drove around for awhile trying to spot them. Eventually he found Hazel and chased her home. We never saw the other three again.
A few days later we came out and Hazel was gone again. We never found her after that. I am beginning to think we should just stop with the pets or maybe move away from the coyotes:)
