Nick accidentally wins a Harley Davidson

Recently Nick started reading about Harley's, and looking at Harley's, and talking about Harley's, and trying to convince me he needed a Harley. He has ALWAYS wanted one and so we discussed it and I finally agreed that sometime this summer he could get one. We left it at that and I didn't think anything of it. Then one day I was checking email and I saw a message saying that Nick had won a Harley Davidson on ebay! I was a little surprised. I called him at work to find out what was up.

Nick: "Walgreen's, Pharmacist speaking, how can I help you?"
Jacie: "Hello. You can help me by telling me why you just got an email saying you bought a Harley on ebay."
Nick: "Oh, hey Jace. I won? Seriously?
Jacie: "Yes, seriously! You didn't tell me you were bidding on a bike, and now you won it."
Nick: "Wow, that's cool... I mean... I didn't mean to win."
Jacie: "Huh?"
Nick: "Well I bid really low and I was sure I wouldn't win. That's why I didn't tell you."
Jacie: "I thought you were waiting until the summer? Why did you bid on it now?"
Nick: "I didn't mean to win."
Jacie: "Well, you did. So why did you bid on it now?"
Nick: "I didn't mean to."
Jacie: "You didn't mean to bid?"
Nick: "No, I didn't mean to win?"
Jacie: "Then why did you bid?"

We went around like this for a little while longer before I finally gave my approval so he could really be excited about it:) After all who am I to deny a hard working man a dream?

It was scheduled to be delivered on the day we were leaving for vacation on Spring Break. We couldn't leave until it arrived. we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally a couple of hours later than scheduled "Harley" arrived. Here is Nick checking her out for the first time.

He got to go on a quick ride before we loaded in the car and headed for California.
