It's Anniversary Time Again
February 8th was our 6th anniversary. I can't believe it's been that long. Actually now that I say that, it's hard for me to imagine what my life was like before Nick. Each year is getting better and better and I am so excited for this next year. Nick is the greatest husband I know. When we were engaged people would always make comments about how young I was. Nick would jokingly say - "I'm getting her young so I can raise her up the way I want her." I don't think he realized how much raising there really was to do:) So hopefully I've grown up the way he imagined. I'd like to think a lot of his good qualities have rubbed off on me.

Friday night we left the two older kids and went down to La Encantada in Tucson for a nice dinner. It was so relaxing and peaceful and it just made me realize one of the things I really love about Nick is that he is so easy to be around. I also love that he has always just taken me as I am. No pressure about my looks (which is a big deal to me because I am very low maintenance!) He always makes me feel beautiful even on my worst days. He is rarely critical of anything I do even when I know I have annoyed him. He is so calm and collected and he is the perfect compliment to my temperament! So Nick if you read this I love you. A night away from the kids was just what I needed. Thanks for a great anniversary and a wonderful six years. Thanks for being an outstanding person, an exceptional husband, and a dedicated father. Most of all, thanks for being my best friend.
