Utah... Here We Come!

This year we decided to try breaking the trip up into two days. We drove to Las Vegas the first day and got a room at the MGM Grand.

The kids favorite part was watching the lions play. It's not a great picture I know. They both refused to turn around no matter how many times we called their names.

We ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. The kids had fun sitting next to a giant aquarium and looking at the "Dory" fish.

The view from our room. The grownups favorite part was the super comfy bed.

This is your wake up call! It was interesting sleeping everyone in the same room - especially since Ainsley and Channing had to share a bed. Here the kids are up bright up and early and Nick is NOT:)

We got a lot of weird looks as we hauled our three kids through the casino. I can't imagine why. We don't look out of place at all!

The next day we started out on the second half of the trip. It was a loooooong day. I think the kids spent a total of twenty minutes sleeping on a six hour drive. Here are pictures from the last hour of the trip.

I know it's hard to believe but Ainsley was actually the happiest child in the car.

Channing was trying to break out of his carseat.

Rand was starving and very unhappy about about being given a bottle.

During all this Nick was rocking out with his head phones on. What a punk!

I love when Bill listens to the i-pod, I sleep and the kids raise heck in the car. Makes you grateful to be where ever you end up. Happy New Year!
